Next year will be the 50th Anniversary of Abba winning the Eurovision Song Contest and the competition will be held in Sweden. What better time for First Aid Kit to enter if they are ever going to! Unlikely as it may seem, by liking the Tweet below, they have hinted this might actually happen! To qualify for the Eurovision finals, First Aid Kit would first have to win a tough Swedish competition called Melodifestivalen, which takes place around February/March. The deadline for submitting entries is usually around mid September of the previous year.

A great night at the Swedish ‘Grammis’ for First Aid Kit. They opened the show with a cracking version of ‘Out of My Head’ and then later collected the award for ‘Best Alternative Pop’.
