First Aid Kit Concert Ticket

Tonight First Aid Kit kick-off the UK and Ireland leg of their ‘Rebel Hearts’ tour. They start with a show at The Telegraph Building in Belfast, before a quick trip across the border to Dublin, and then onto the British mainland.

If you’re still hoping to get tickets, you might well be disappointed as. with the possible exception of Cardiff, the tour is completely sold out. Increasing popularity has its downside, it seems!

So what songs can we expect to hear? Well, they’re almost certain to include established numbers such as ‘My Silver Lining’, Emmylou’, ‘Wolf’, ‘The Lion’s Roar’ and ‘Stay Gold’. ‘Rebel Heart’ is another safe bet – after all, this is the ‘Rebel Hearts’ tour! As for openers, they tend to favour something a bit dramatic – in Europe, earlier this year, it was ‘Rebel Heart’ while on the more recent US tour they favoured ‘Distant Star’, a song they’d never played live previously. They’re also likely to throw in a couple of other songs they haven’t done recently, perhaps ‘Waitress Song’, ‘This Old Routine’ or ‘Heaven Knows’, all pretty classic if you ask me! They could well include ‘My Wild Sweet Love’ which, if I’m not mistaken, is the only song from ‘Ruins’ they’ve yet to perform live. There is also likely to be some stuff from the new EP – they’ve been performing ‘I’ve Wanted You’ and ‘Ugly’ on the US tour, but I don’t think they’ve ever played the title track ‘Tender Offerings’. There’s also a chance that we’ll hear some new cover version, but what will they cover this time: could it be Nivarna, Pavarotti or something else entirely unexpected? After all, they once surprised their audience with a cover of ‘War Pigs’ by Black Sabbath! One of the great things about First Aid Kit is that you never quite know what they’re going to come up with next … but rest assured, they won’t be covering Justin Bieber anytime soon!

First Aid Kit Fan website

First Aid Kit Fan is a new independent fan site dedicated to the Swedish sister singing duo First Aid Kit (Klara and Johanna Söderberg).

We’ll be bringing you all the latest news about the band, as well as other articles of interest to fans. You’ll be able to watch YouTube videos of First Aid Kit in our ‘videos’ section and follow their recording history in our discography.

We’ll bring you details of any live broadcasts of the band’s performances. We’re also launching a new discussion forum where you’ll be able to interact with other fans.

My first encounter with First Aid Kit was when I stumbled on a video of them doing an Abba song. Although I was pretty impressed with their rendition of the song, being more of a fan of punk rock at the time, I didn’t get around to investigating much further. When I did finally sit down and listen to First Aid Kit’s other material, I soon realised they weren’t just another third-rate pop band, as their name might have suggested. It quickly became clear that these two sisters were in fact, world-class singer/songwriters, among the best to emerge in recent times. In fact, I was so impressed I ended up creating this website!
