First Aid Kit made a surprise appearance at today’s ‘Fridays for Future’ climate change strike in Stockholm. The protest was inspired by 16-year-old, Nobel Peace Prize-nominated activist Greta Thunberg. The Söderberg sisters appeared on stage withThunberg and also performed their song, ‘My Silver Lining’, rather appropriately singing, ‘I won’t take the easy road’.

First Aid Kit have now given a date for their appearance at the Ottawa Bluesfest in Canada. They will be performing on Thursday 4th July. According to the festival website, the full schedule with set times and stage locations will be available in late spring 2019.

We previously reported that First Aid Kit would be participating in TED2019. The TED website lists the duo as speakers, however, it’s now been confirmed that they will indeed be performing at the event.

First Aid Kit are rumoured to be playing the Ottawa Bluefest in Canada this year. The official line-up is due to be announced tomorrow 5th March. In the meantime, a ‘leaked’ line-up has emerged, though it’s not clear if this is genuine or a hoax.
